Subscription & Connection Help
Start with the part where the problem occurs: your account, client, route or order. Check the status before changing settings.
Expand any question below to read the answer. If you can’t find a match, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the error message and steps you took. Don’t send your password or full subscription link.
Accounts & Subscriptions
Your account stores subscription status; the client uses the configuration. Before importing, make sure you can sign in to your account. After updating, confirm the active configuration is the one you just updated.
Do I need an email address to create an account? How should I store my account details?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Save both in a trusted password manager and make sure you can sign in to the user panel again. Don’t use your subscription link as your account password or post your full account details in public forums. If you have trouble accessing your account, open a support ticket from a session you can still access and describe the message you saw and what you were doing. If you can no longer sign in, first check your saved username, keyboard input settings and any spaces in your password, then look for the account support options in the panel. Not needing an email address also means you can’t rely on email for account recovery, so keep your login details safe.
How do I import and update my subscription link?
Sign in to the user panel and find the subscription link for your client in the downloads or subscription section. Then return to the client and import it. If you already have a configuration, update the existing subscription rather than repeatedly creating configurations with the same name. Make sure the updated configuration is enabled and that the route list appears as expected. If the update fails, check that your local network can reach the user panel, then make sure the copied link is complete and has no extra spaces or line breaks. If the panel provides a replacement link, copy it again and update the saved address in your client. A subscription link is an access credential: don’t post it publicly or submit it to unfamiliar online conversion tools.
Do I need to buy again when I change devices? Can I connect on multiple devices at once?
There’s no device limit. To switch devices, sign in to the user panel with your existing account, get the client for the new device and import your subscription. You don’t need to buy again just because you’ve changed devices. VPN94 supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux; check the panel for availability and download instructions. Devices can be online at the same time, but no device limit does not mean unlimited data. Check your account’s data status as well. Before handing an old device to someone else, remove any saved subscription and account details. If the old and new devices connect differently, check each device’s local network, system permissions and active client configuration rather than assuming the device count is the cause.
Where can I download the client? What should I check after signing in?
Download clients from the downloads section of the user panel. Sign in to access your subscription; installation files are not linked directly from the Help Center. Clients for Windows / macOS / Android / Linux are available after signing in. Check the panel for iOS availability. Once installed, grant the network permissions requested by your system, import the subscription and select its configuration. Opening the client doesn’t mean the proxy is active: check the connection switch, selected route and system proxy or network-routing status. If your system blocks a permission, review it in system settings rather than repeatedly importing the subscription. See the user guide for the full setup sequence.
Connections & Troubleshooting
Check your local network, configuration download, route connection and app access separately. Change one thing at a time and keep useful error messages.
The client says it’s connected, but webpages won’t load. What should I check first?
Turn off the proxy first and confirm your device’s local network works on its own. Then turn the client back on and test a route. Check that the active configuration came from a valid subscription, your system allows the client to establish network connections, and no other network-routing tools are running at the same time. Test your browser and the app that wouldn’t load separately to determine whether the issue affects the whole device or just one app. If only a particular service is affected, note its error message rather than assuming every route is unavailable. Change one setting at a time and record the results before and after. That will help you explain where the problem occurs when you submit a ticket, without losing useful clues through repeated reinstalls.
Why does the browser work, but a particular app doesn’t use the proxy?
If the browser works, that only confirms its own requests are taking the expected path; it doesn’t mean the client is routing every app. Some apps ignore system proxy settings, or may connect directly because of routing rules. Check whether the client is in rule-based or global mode, then review any available connection logs to see how requests from the app are routed. You can switch modes temporarily to compare, then restore the setting that suits your usual use. If the client supports system-wide network routing, check its permissions and compatibility as documented instead of changing browser settings alone. An app may also keep an existing connection, so after changing routes, quit and reopen it and see whether anything changes.
Subscription update failed or the route list is empty. What should I do?
Sign in to the user panel and check your subscription and data status, then make sure the subscription format matches your client. An update failure and a route connection failure happen at different stages: the first occurs when retrieving the configuration, the second when using a route. When copying the subscription, check that the address hasn’t been cut off. After importing, note the client’s specific error message. You can keep your old configuration until the new one has been verified instead of deleting all your settings prematurely. If your local network can open the panel but the subscription still won’t load, submit a ticket with the client name, operating system, error message and steps that led to the failure. Before sharing a screenshot, hide the full subscription address, password and other access credentials.
Do I need to reinstall after switching networks or waking my device from sleep?
Don’t reinstall as a first step. Switching Wi-Fi networks, waking a device or background system management can interrupt an existing connection. Make sure the new network is working, then disconnect and reconnect in the client, selecting another route if needed. If the problem occurs only after sleep, check the system’s background activity, battery management and network permissions for the client. If just one app is still affected, quit and reopen it to clear any stale connection. Avoid changing the protocol, routing rules, DNS and system network settings all at once; you won’t know which change helped. If this happens repeatedly, note what triggers it and whether reconnecting fixes it, then report those details in a ticket. They’re more useful for troubleshooting than simply saying the connection drops often.
Speed & Routes
Choose a route based on what you need to do. Region, routing, protocol and destination service all affect performance; any single test can explain only part of the picture.
Speeds slow down at peak times. Should I change routes or plans?
Troubleshoot the route and your local network first; a plan with more data won’t fix speed issues. Peak-hour performance can be affected by local Wi-Fi interference, congestion on your internet connection, congestion along international routes and the destination service’s response time. Pause data-heavy tasks on your device, compare routes in the same app, then see whether switching local networks helps. Keep other conditions as consistent as possible and judge results by real tasks such as page loads, video buffering or app response. VPN94 monthly plans differ by data allowance; this page does not promise different speed tiers. If several routes slow down in similar situations, include your network, destination service and the time of the issue in a ticket to help distinguish a local problem from a routing one.
How do I choose between IEPL, relayed and direct routes?
Route types describe how traffic is routed, not guaranteed connection speeds. A direct route usually has fewer hops, but its performance still depends on the actual routing between your local network and the destination. A relayed route connects through an intermediate entry point, which may improve some paths but adds another step. IEPL describes a dedicated-line setup; actual performance still depends on the entry point, exit point and destination service. Choose a region based on the service you need, then compare the routes available in the panel instead of relying on the route type alone. VPN94 covers 100+ countries / 190+ routes. Check the user panel for current options; the overall coverage figures don’t mean every route type is available in every region.
Why are video or AI tools still slow when latency looks low?
Latency reflects only part of the round-trip response. It doesn’t measure sustained transfer capacity or fully account for packet loss, route congestion or the destination server’s processing time. Video depends more on sustained throughput and buffering. AI tools can also be affected by server queues, account status and regional service rules. Test in the app itself and note whether the delay occurs while connecting, loading or waiting for the service to respond. After changing routes, make sure the app has established a new connection before judging the result. If other websites work but the destination service remains slow, check that service’s own status messages too. A single latency reading isn’t a reliable basis for choosing a route long term, nor does it mean a platform will always be accessible.
How should I choose a region? Is a newer protocol always better?
Choose an exit region based on the destination service’s regional rules and your everyday needs, then consider route type and client compatibility. A closer location doesn’t necessarily mean a shorter real-world route, and entry points in the same region can perform differently. Protocol names reflect different design trade-offs, not a simple old-to-new ranking. Whether a connection works depends on system support, your network environment and device resources, among other factors. Use the configurations available in the user panel. Start with one that imports successfully and handles your actual tasks reliably, then compare options for different situations. Don’t combine unknown settings from other sources with your existing subscription. See the technical reference for more on protocols and routing; for a specific issue, note the error before changing your configuration.

Billing & Refunds
Check your plan type and order history first. Monthly plans and data packages use data differently; payments and refund requests are handled through the user panel.
How much does a monthly plan cost? When does data reset, and how are upgrades calculated?
Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Mid-cycle upgrades are prorated over the remaining days. Compare plans against your usage and the data records in your account; a larger allowance doesn’t mean unlimited data. Check the reset date shown in your account rather than assuming it falls on the first of the calendar month. To upgrade, open the plans section of the user panel and review the plan, amount and remaining-day changes on the confirmation screen before proceeding. If the details differ from what you expect, save the page information and submit a ticket before trying again, so orders don’t become difficult to distinguish. See the plans page for full pricing.
What’s the difference between a data package and a monthly plan?
Data packages: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Use the data until it’s gone; it never expires. Monthly plans reset their data each month on the activation date. The main difference is how data is used and reset, so don’t compare them solely by the upfront payment. If your usage is irregular, check how data packages work; for regular use, consider a monthly plan based on your actual consumption. “Never expires” describes the package’s validity period; it doesn’t mean you can keep using it after the data is gone. If you already have a plan and want to switch, check the panel’s details on when changes take effect and your account status. Don’t assume data will stack, be topped up automatically or be deducted in a particular order. Ask through a ticket if the panel doesn’t explain how it works.
Which payment methods are supported? What if my account status doesn’t change after payment?
We accept Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Before paying, check the order and amount in the panel and follow the instructions on the current order page. Don’t send money to payment details from sources outside that page. If your account status hasn’t changed after payment, return to the original order to check its status and refresh your account page. Make sure you’re viewing the same account and order. Don’t pay again just because the page hasn’t updated, and don’t create a new order to replace the original one. If the payment service shows the payment as complete but the order hasn’t updated, submit a ticket with the order ID, payment result and steps you took. Keep only the details needed to verify a screenshot and hide unrelated personal information. Order status is based on the user panel and ticket response; this page doesn’t promise an unlisted processing time.
How do I request a refund? What information should I provide?
VPN94 offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and open a support ticket. Select or describe your refund request, provide the relevant order ID and confirm that the order belongs to your account. See the refund policy for full terms. You don’t need to describe a usage concern as a technical fault or complete repeated troubleshooting before asking for a refund. If the order status is also incorrect, include the payment result and the message shown in the panel. Hide passwords and subscription credentials in screenshots. Continue the conversation in the original ticket and check for replies rather than creating multiple requests for the same order. This page makes no additional promises about processing times, payment-provider settlement times or fees not specified in the policy.
